Eric is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Harvard Law School. In his legal career, Eric has focused on providing services in the areas of criminal defense, DWI defense, civil litigation, business transactions, and appellate representation.
Criminal Defense and DWI Defense
Eric has represented all manner of clients facing criminal matters. From traffic tickets to first-degree murder appeals, Eric has experience representing clients in challenging circumstances. Eric’s experience includes a first-degree murder postconviction appeal to the Minnesota Supreme Court, obtaining a not guilty verdict after a trial for DWI test refusal, and dramatically reducing a client’s sentence after the State improperly tried to classify him as a career criminal offender.

Before starting his own practice, Eric worked at a large law firm handling corporate matters for Fortune 500 clients. Eric handled antitrust, class action, and commercial litigation matters. At the firm, Eric’s abilities were recognized, and he was given the rare opportunity to manage matters as a first- and second-year associate. As the owner of his own firm, Eric has helped numerous businesses with legal issues, including defending against a claim for over $300,000, drafting employment and sales contracts, and arguing an appeal concerning the violation of professional regulations.
